Lowcountry Food Bank

 

During July all American's are joining together and celebrating the history of our great country! The Lowcountry Food Bank would like to show our American spirit and celebrate, "Independence From Hunger," in honor of the more than 190,000 hungry children, families and elderly we serve in our 10 county coastal service area. We encourage all partners and friends to take part in our month long campaign to ensure all of our neighbors can celebrate "Independence From Hunger."

 

Volunteer

The Lowcountry Food Bank relies on more than 25,000 volunteer hours every year. From sorting and sanitizing food to attending a community event, learn more about the ways you can volunteer to help make a difference in our fight to end hunger!

 

Donate

Every dollar donated to the Lowcountry Food Bank creates 10 meals! To create meals for our Independence From Hunger Campaign, you can use the donate button below.

The Lowcountry Food Bank can create one meal with 1.3 pounds of food! Donate food by hosting a food drive, re-stocking your hurricane supply kit and donating last years, or cleaning out your pantry.

Lowcountry Food Bank on CNN

Lowcountry Food Bank Executive Director, D. Jermaine Husser shared on CNN Newsroom with Heidi Collins that people in our community were simply looking for "hope" in the form of food.
