Bourbon, Whiskey, and Friends – Oh My!
Step inside a repurposed bank vault for a private bourbon tasting experience. Guests will sample four premium bourbons and whiskeys, including Paddock and Whisky’s single barrel picks, with a whiskey connoisseur. You’ll also learn about the distilling and barreling process behind each bottle while dining on small plates chosen to pair with each pour.
This experience includes two highly sought after, collectible bottles of bourbon:
- Sword & Sash Small Batch Bourbon Whiskey – Sword and Sash is proud to be the first distilled spirit to be licensed by The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina. For those who have graduated from the Corps of Cadets – whether a year ago or 80 years ago – the memories, both bitter and sweet, last a lifetime. Sword and Sash is the perfect companion to celebrate those memories, and this luscious whiskey is distilled for The Citadel from Virginia corn, wheat, rye, and malted barley. It is lovingly aged over two summers in new, charred oak barrels.
- Blanton’s Original Single Barrel Bourbon – Taken from the center-cut or middle sections of the famous Warehouse H, Blanton’s Original Single Barrel was once designated for ambassadors, dignitaries, and Colonel Blanton’s family and friends. Today, everyone has access to the world’s first single-barrel bourbon. The taste profile is sweet, with notes of citrus and oak.
