Lowcountry Food Bank is committed to fighting hunger in South Carolina. If you or a loved one needs food, we can help. We work with nearly 300 partner agencies across our 10-county service area to support individuals and families in our community. Food is available to all who need it. Lowcountry Food Bank leads the fight against hunger in the 10 coastal counties of South Carolina. Together, our network of our nearly 300 community partners provides more than 32 million meals annually to FEED our neighbors experiencing food insecurity. We ADVOCATE at the local, state, and national levels for policies and programs that support access to nutritious food and address the root causes of poverty. We EMPOWER our community through education and access to the food they need to thrive.

The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP)

CSFP is a USDA nutrition program that offers FREE monthly nutrition information and nutritious foods. Residents of Charleston, Beaufort, Berkeley, Dorchester, Georgetown, Horry or Williamsburg counties who are 60 years of age or older and meet the income guidelines created by USDA can apply.

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly known as the Food Stamp Program) helps millions of individuals and families in the United States afford food. Apply today to stretch your grocery budget with SNAP!
