Lowcountry Food Bank does not collect personal information about visitors to its website except when visitors specifically provide such information on a voluntary basis. Personal information will not be used by or distributed to third parties but will be used by Lowcountry Food Bank and the payment processor to securely process any donations. Lowcountry Food Bank never sells or rents donors’ names and personal information. Furthermore, it is our practice to abide by all donors’ requests to opt-out of receiving emails and/or be excluded from receiving fundraising appeals and/or any other type of mailing or phone call.

Donor Privacy Policy
Any information supplied to Lowcountry Food Bank (LCFB) by donors will be used solely to fulfill their donation and shall not be shared for any reason unless permission is granted by the donor to share such information. All requests to remain anonymous shall be honored. The Lowcountry Food Bank (LCFB) does not sell or share donor lists. Donors who supply the Lowcountry Food Bank (LCFB) with their postal address or email address may be contacted periodically for solicitation purposes and/or with information regarding upcoming events. All donors have the option of being placed on a “once-a-year” mailing list which grants Lowcountry Food Bank (LCFB) permission to contact them only once per year. Donors may request to be permanently removed from the mailing list by contacting us via email, phone or postal mail. All requests to be removed from the Lowcountry Food Bank (LCFB)’s mailing list shall be honored and their wish shall be reflected in the donor database as “Do Not Solicit per donor request”. Donors who supply Lowcountry Food Bank (LCFB) with their telephone number may request that they not be contacted for telephone fundraising purposes.
