Put your team to work for a good cause and help us fight hunger in South Carolina. Business leaders throughout the Lowcountry are stepping up to partner with the Lowcountry Food Bank to support our mission to lead the fight against hunger. You and your team can be a part of this important work and make a significant impact. Discover ways that you can join the fight against hunger.
Sponsor an Event
As an event sponsor, you will receive valuable exposure to an important and influential audience in our community, while providing vital support for the Lowcountry Food Bank and those in our community who experience hunger.
Create a Matching Gift Program
By offering a matching gift program, you can provide your employees with an opportunity to support the fight against hunger. It’s an easy way to double your contribution to us!
Give the Gift of Time & Talent
We rely on our volunteers in so many areas, from sorting foods to serving clients. No matter how much time you have to give or what skills you have to provide, there is always an opportunity for you to make a difference at Lowcountry Food Bank.
Make a Financial Gift
By becoming a supporter of Lowcountry Food Bank, every $1 you contribute can help us provide six meals to our neighbors in need. Many businesses throughout our community have chosen Lowcountry Food Bank as the recipient of employee-giving programs, sponsored one of our signature events or made financial investments that make it possible for us to serve more than 200,000 children, seniors and families experiencing hunger across coastal South Carolina.
Host a Food Drive or Virtual Fundraiser
Get your whole team involved! Help by creating a virtual fundraiser or by collecting some of our most needed items such as rice, tuna, cereal or peanut butter. You can use your own collection bin or borrow one of ours. Create a fun food drive by challenging your peers, another department or a competing business to collect the most food or donations.
Create Advocates Among Your Team
Want to get your team actively involved in our cause? We invite you and your team to come in for a tour to learn more about the work we do. After learning about the work we do, you may be compelled to do more. There are a variety of ways you can advocate for change and fight hunger within our community, here are a few.
- Be a part of Hunger Action Month in September.
- Download our Case for Support and learn more.
- Share our fact sheet with your team.
- Reach out to elected officials and encourage them to make fighting hunger a top priority.
Sponsor a Mobile Food Distribution

Combine your philanthropy and volunteerism by sponsoring and staffing one of our client-choice, farmers’ market distributions. A Lowcountry Food Bank truck just needs pavement and your support to be able to share 10,000 pounds of produce with 200 families.
