Due to COVID-19, many of us have had to work from home, eat dinner at home and do more at home. This year, the Lowcountry Food Bank worked to create “Chefs’ Feast 2021 Home Edition.”
For over 20 years, LCFB has depended on Chefs’ Feast to fund childhood hunger programs. If a child is hungry when they go home, chances are, the rest of the family is as well.
This 30-40 minute virtual event featured LCFB’s efforts during COVID-19 and the importance of continuing the fight against childhood hunger. This year’s event was hosted by ABC News 4 Chief Meteorologist Dave Williams.
Proceeds from Chefs’ Feast fight childhood hunger that alleviate after-school, weekend and summer hunger for children. Programs supported include our Kids Café, BackPack Buddies, School Market, School Pantry and Summer Meals.
