Program Highlight: Food For Health

Recognizing the link between access to nutritious food and health outcomes, Lowcountry Food Bank has partnered with health clinics to ensure patients who screen positive for food insecurity have access to the foods they need to keep their bodies healthy. Currently, we work with MUSC, the Fetter Healthcare Network, St. James Health & Wellness, and HopeHealth to support their providers in routinely screening their patients for food insecurity and then making sure those patients have food access onsite or with a local food pantry.

By The Numbers

With help from our staff, board, donors, volunteers and partner agencies, we’re able to make a lasting impact on the lives of children, adults, veterans, and seniors who experience food insecurity across the 10 coastal counties of South Carolina.

Our impact is demonstrated by our results and the lives we touch. We invite you to learn more about our work, our team and how we accomplish our mission.
