2025 Annual Impact Report: LCFB Consistently Meeting the Highest Standards

Trust is earned through consistency, accountability, and a commitment to serving our neighbors. One of the ways we demonstrate that commitment is through our regular AIB International audits. AIB is one of the most respected food safety auditing organizations in the industry. Its audits evaluate facility conditions, sanitation programs, operational procedures, employee training, and quality systems to ensure we meet rigorous food safety and quality standards.

For our partners and the neighbors we serve, these audits provide independent verification that our facilities meet some of the industry’s most demanding requirements. High scores aren’t achieved through preparation for a single audit day—they reflect the daily practices, processes, and culture that support safe, reliable, and high-quality food handling year-round.

Since 2015, our three facilities have consistently earned exceptional AIB scores. Across six audit cycles, our overall audit averages have remained remarkably strong, ranging from 908 to 943 points over the past decade. Most recently, our 2026 audits resulted in scores of 890 in Charleston and 920 in both our Myrtle Beach Northern Region and Early Branch Southern Region facilities.

These results reflect more than operational excellence. They represent our promise to our neighbors, partners, and communities that food safety and quality remain at the heart of everything we do. The same standards that guide our daily operations also guide us in times of crisis, when preparedness and coordination are essential to serving our communities well. Year after year, our teams continue to uphold the high standards that ensure the food entrusted to our care is handled safely, responsibly, and with excellence.
