Lowcountry Food Bank Foundation was established in 2021 to provide a consistent and sustainable source of funding to support Lowcountry Food Bank for generations to come.
The Foundation manages and invests monetary gifts, helping build long-term community support and financial stability, and provides a dependable source of annual income. Donors can direct their gifts to one of two endowment funds:
1) Kipp Helping Kids:
This endowment fund provides lasting support for childhood feeding and nutrition education programs, helping children and families access healthy meals and resources they need to thrive.
2) The General Operating Endowment:
This endowment helps fund feeding programs, essential equipment, infrastructure, and critical projects that support Lowcountry Food Bank.

Lowcountry Food Bank serves the 10 coastal counties of South Carolina and distributed more than 42 million pounds of food in 2025.
